IT Helpdesk / Tier II

Responsible for providing advanced technical support and troubleshooting for complex IT issues that cannot be resolved at the Tier I level. This role involves diagnosing and resolving technical problems, managing escalations, and ensuring efficient IT service delivery. Additionally, the position includes administering Windows Server environments, configuring and managing network infrastructures, and maintaining network security to ensure seamless connectivity and performance.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Serve as an escalation point.

  • Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop and server level, including installing and upgrading software, implementing file backups, configuring systems and applications.

  • Install, configure, test, maintain and troubleshoot end-user workstation software application.

  • Record, track and document helpdesk requests and problem-solving process.

  • Priorities, schedule, and escalate issues(when required) to the appropriately experienced technician.

  • Creating SOP for new processes.

  • Provide second-level technical support for network, server, and cloud-related issues.

  • Manage and support Windows and Linux servers, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.

  • Administer cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) including virtual machines, storage, and network configurations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

 

  • Degree in BS in Information Technology or related

  • Strong background in networking, software, and hardware

  • Keen knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory

  • Proficient in a ticketing system

  • High attention to details

  • Ability to work independently

  • Self-motivated

  • Excellent leadership skills

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

  • Can amend to work during the night shift, holidays, and weekends.

  • Amenable to work in Tayabas, Quezon Province onsite.

Job Type: Full-time

​

Pay: Php 40,000.00 – Php 80,000.00 per month

​

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift – 5 days/week

  • Rotational shift

  • Tayabas, Quezon Province: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
